Bizarre architects reveal plans to build skyscraper on ASTEROID 31,068 MILES above Earth

AN ARCHITECTURAL firm has unveiled bizarre plans to suspend a skyscraper from an asteroid that orbits the Earth.

A New York architectural firm has released ambitious plans that will see them attach a skyscraper to an asteroid that will orbit Earth.
Named the Analemma Tower, the building would be attached to the giant space rock some 31,068 miles above Earth’s surface with an orbital path of a figure eight which will take it over cities such as Havana and New York.
Clouds Architecture Office, the firm behind the idea, say that the process would involve building a skyscraper here on Earth, most likely Dubai due to the low costs, and flying it to an asteroid that has been dragged into Earth’s orbit.

This system is referred to as the Universal Orbital Support System (UOSS).
“By placing a large asteroid into orbit over earth, a high strength cable can be lowered towards the surface of earth from which a super tall tower can be suspended
“Since this new tower typology is suspended in the air, it can be constructed anywhere in the world and transported to its final location.”

“Devotional activities are scattered along the highest reaches, while surface transfer points take advantage of high topography,” the company explains.
“The size and shape of windows changes with height to account for pressure and temperature differentials.
